It watches, never touches
It reads the game’s own network traffic as it goes past. It never types, clicks, moves or modifies anything in Albion — it has no way to.
Every pickup lands in a file
Written to a plain text log on your machine the moment it happens, yours to open at any time. No account, no Discord, no guild: this half works entirely on its own.

An illustration, not a real raid. Every pickup the party’s capture apps saw, merged and priced from the live market, set against the guild’s own chest log — so “who took what, and did it get handed in” is a page rather than an argument. Values are estimates: a city price more than triple the Black Market’s standing buy order is capped to that order, and the page says when it did.
03 · Installing
Three steps on either platform
Windows will warn you about the installer. Our beta builds are not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen shows a blue box. Choose More info → Run anyway.
- Run the installer.
- Open the app. If it asks for the capture driver, click Install capture driver — it fetches Npcap from its makers, checks the download’s signature, and walks you through their short wizard.
- Press Start capture and play.
macOS will refuse the first launch. Our builds are not notarized by Apple yet, so right-click the app → Open and confirm. It asks once; after that it opens normally.
- Open the DMG and drag the app to Applications.
- Right-click it → Open, then confirm.
- Press Start capture. The app asks for capture permission and fixes it in one prompt — no Terminal, no sudo.

“You can check” is the only honest answer
This app reads a network interface on your machine. “You can check” is the only honest answer to that, so all of it is GPL-3.0 and public: the app itself, and the separate capture engine it drives — our fork of ao-loot-logger, which is the part that actually reads packets.
Installers are served from this site rather than from GitHub, so downloading one tells nobody but us. Npcap is fetched from its own makers and never bundled — it is theirs, under their licence.
